The Geodesic Domes Airbnb is located between Sultan, Washington and Gold Bar Washington on Highway 2. It is just one hour Northeast from Seattle. This is one of my favorite Highways in Washington with scenic rivers, forests and incredible mountain views.

Unique Features of Geodesic Dome Glamping Getaway:
I’ve been to a LOT of cabins over the years, and there are a few things that make Sky Valley Escape Geodome Glamping stand out to me.
1. Wood Fired Barrel Sauna
The property has an INCREDIBLE wood fired sauna that is shared between the Geodome and another cabin on the property. You can easily reserve a time and reservations are in 4 hour chunks of time. We reserved the sauna from 3-7 and loved our experience.
The hosts provide a video of thorough instructions for how to build a fire a use the sauna. Wood and fire starter is provided by the hosts as well.
The view here was absolutely ridiculous. The clouds cleared around 5 pm to reveal a direct view of the mountains and a gorgeous forest from the sauna.
Tip: Pack easy slip on shoes and a robe to easily get in and out of the sauna when you get too hot!
2. Soaking Tub
The bathroom geodome has a gorgeous soaking tub positioned right in the middle of a big window that looks out to your private view of the forest and mountains. Body wash is provided that bubbles up and I enjoyed such a nice soak with a glass of wine and a book.
It is nice that the tub also has a shower combo that came in handy for rinsing off after the sauna.
Tip: Fill the soaking tub with cold water for a cold plunge in between sauna sessions!
3. Movie Theater at Geodome Glamping Getaway
Because of the layout of the dome, the furniture can be moved around into whatever kind of space you want! Including a Movie Theater Lounge! We followed the instructions in the guest manual and easily set up a movie. The curtains to the big window close to create the screen for the projector. The hosts provide access to Netflix and other streaming services on the Amazon Fire Stick. Bring your favorite popcorn!
4. Versatile Living Room in Geodesic Dome Glamping Getaway
One of my favorite features was being able to change around the main living space for whatever activity I wanted. In the morning we moved the 2 lounge couches to the front window to watch the sunrise while we drank our tea and coffee.
If you’re into yoga, this is such an incredible space for it!
Book Sky Valley Escape Geodesic Dome Glamping!
There is a decent amount of availability at this geodome unlike so many other scenic cabins in Washington. I recommend booking 2-3 weeks in advance to get the dates you want during the weekdays and 4-5 weeks in advance for weekends.
Note: a 2 night minimum is required
Price to Book Sky Valley Escape Geodome:
As of February 2023, the prices are around $270 per night with a 2-night minimum. This price is before taxes and fees. If you can get a group of 4, splitting this cost is pretty reasonable for a getaway.
