I had the pleasure of staying at this mid century modern, Architect designed, dream of a cabin on the Oregon coast. The whole time I was trying to decide what to label this getaway. It feels like a beach treehouse, but like with cozy staples of a cabin. I’ll let you decide in the comments below! But, here’s everything you need to know about staying at this Award winning Airbnb Manzanita Oregon. I’m moving to Portland soon, so this is the first of many Cabins on the Oregon Coast to hit my blog.

My Experience at the Cabins on Oregon Coast:
I was coming off of a trip from my hometown in Northern Michigan for a wedding and was EXHAUSTED. It was such a relief to stay here after and rest up. Everything here was so comfortable and I slept in the bottom room which can stay dark and cozy.
My friends from Seattle drove down and we all worked remote for a few hours. This coastal cabin really was an incredible place to work. WIFI was good, plenty of outlets and good lighting for meetings, etc. My friend Brenna has recently become a certified yoga instructor, so we cleared out the living room and it was the perfect space for a short session.
We felt more lively the second day, went hiking at Oswald West State Park (details below), grabbed beers and sat on Cannon Beach. We meandered over to Pelican Brewing for dinner before heading back. Overall the two nights spent here had me feeling refreshed.

Outdoor Activities near Airbnb Manzanita Oregon:
There are SO many nearby hiking trails and scenic destinations here. Let me break down some of my favorites.
Cannon Beach
Cannon Beach is a sandy stretch of beach with a large sea stack rock know as Haystack Rock. It is gorgeous at sunrise or sunset. I’d recommend packing a picnic for lunch or enjoying a beverage on the beach and grabbing dinner in this cute coastal town.
Oswald West State Park
These ended up being our favorite easy hikes (less than 1 mile round trip) and it was only a 7 minute drive to get to the trailhead.
- Elk Flats Trail
- Devils Cauldron
- Arch Cape
Other Activities
Pelican Brewing
This brewery has a lot of seafood options, good beer and a lot of indoor or patio seating. Average cost of a dish was around $17. I ordered the calamari and it was delicious.
Yolk
A breakfast spot near the Manzanita Airbnb! We didn’t get a chance to check it out then, but all of the good reviews made this a place I would like to visit sometime.
