Perched between two long-standing Fir trees, this Oregon Treehouse Airbnb overlooks a forested canyon that features a river and waterfalls. The lush greens are a breath of fresh air, as much as the lack of cell service and isolation. This Off-Grid, Luxury Treehouse is the perfect getaway for couples or close friends.

Where is the Oregon Treehouse Airbnb?
This Treehouse Getaway sits near the coast in Southern Oregon. The Langlois Market is small, but has almost everything you could want, including a deli and wine/beer!
- Distance from Portland: 5 hours
- To Treehouse from San Francisco: 8 hours
Getting to the treehouse will involve driving on a dirt road for about 5 minutes and is suitable for all cars. Host sends specific directions that are easy to navigate and google maps got us 99% of the way there!
The Oregon Treehouse Rental on Airbnb
Oh my gosh, where to begin?! This place blew us away. I mean the pictures on Airbnb look incredible, but do not begin to show how lovely this treehouse rental is.
Let me give you the grand Treehouse tour!
As soon as you pull up, you can see the twinkling lights and glimpses of the rustic luxury that awaits you. Just a few feet from the stairs sits an outdoor composting toilet with views of the forest and river.
After one flight of steps, you arrive at a deck that features two claw foot tubs with a water heating apparatus and a sauna in the corner. An outdoor shower stands next to the tubs and a lovely outdoor sink for dishes and all other water needs.
Heading up the last set of steps, you arrive at a spacious deck that overlooks the river. A cooking set up with a portable stove, pots, pans and more sit near a table and chairs.
Inside the large bedroom there are beautiful large windows, a king sized bed, mini fridge, microwave and tv (we binge watched all the planet earth dvds they had there!).
The Outdoor Tubs at the Off-Grid Treehouse
This was definitely the main draw for us when booking. Like, what?! There are two claw foot tubs that have hot water on a deck in a scenic forest?!
We had grand plans to go hike around the area, but once we arrived we knew very well our plans would be to spend as much time as possible in those tubs.
The Host, Kean, arrived shortly after we got to the treehouse to give us the run down of how to use the propane heated water system to fill the tubs. It was straight-forward and easy to use! We ran out of propane once and drove 15 minutes down the road to get cell service and within 15 minutes Kean was at the treehouse to help us out.
We LOVED using the sauna. It was a great way to warm up while the tubs were heating up. Since we visited in March, it was definitely pretty chilly in just a bathing suit, but between the tubs and the sauna – we were never worried about being cold (also the bedroom has heat!).

Planning a visit to this treehouse requires patience, as I’ve recently checked back and noticed it is now booked out for an entire year, but it is SO worth it. Yes! I loved that it was out on a logging road. Felt very secluded and not having cell service was a bonus for me!
Can you post the direct link to the rental on a bb?
