I didn’t think I was going to like Seven Falls, because of the massive amount of tourists and long lines (I should mention I went over Labor Day weekend), but it was definitely worth it.
- Series of seven cascading waterfalls
- 224 steps to get to top waterfall
- Additional hikes that are less crowded after getting to the top, well marked
- $14 per person
- 1 hour and 20 minute drive outside of Denver
We did not buy tickets ahead and ended up waiting a while. I recommend buying tickets online the day before so that you can get in without as much of a wait.
We parked at the Seven Falls shuttle area, but ended up walking to Seven Falls using google maps. If you are able to, I recommend it (~1.5 mile) as we did not have to wait in a ridiculous shuttle line, but if the line isn’t atrocious it might be faster to take the shuttle.
- Take the elevator when you first arrive into the falls area to go up to a view point
- Climb the steps to see the magnificent falls
- Once at the top, continue on to complete:
- Midnight Falls loop trail – .7 miles
- Inspiration Point out and back – 1.5 miles total
- Bring Water!!
This is so beautiful!!! Absolutely in love with this!
Thank you! Colorado has so much to offer if you’ve never been. Such a lovely place.
