I didn’t think I was going to like Seven Falls, because of the massive amount of tourists and long lines (I should mention I went over Labor Day weekend), but it was definitely worth it.

  • Series of seven cascading waterfalls
  • 224 steps to get to top waterfall
  • Additional hikes that are less crowded after getting to the top, well marked
  • $14 per person
  • 1 hour and 20 minute drive outside of Denver

We did not buy tickets ahead and ended up waiting a while. I recommend buying tickets online the day before so that you can get in without as much of a wait.

We parked at the Seven Falls shuttle area, but ended up walking to Seven Falls using google maps. If you are able to, I recommend it (~1.5 mile) as we did not have to wait in a ridiculous shuttle line, but if the line isn’t atrocious it might be faster to take the shuttle.

  • Take the elevator when you first arrive into the falls area to go up to a view point
  • Climb the steps to see the magnificent falls
  • Once at the top, continue on to complete:
    • Midnight Falls loop trail – .7 miles
    • Inspiration Point out and back – 1.5 miles total
  • Bring Water!!
